Job summary

Super Group International is seeking a Team Lead AML Screening in Cape Town to lead and optimise the AML screening workflow, ensuring compliance with AML legislation and internal policies. You will manage the AML Screening Team, coordinate with MLRO and other stakeholders, and drive investigations with high attention to risk mitigation.

The role emphasises leadership, regulatory knowledge, and strong communication in a fast-paced online gaming context, with opportunities to influence processes

Qualifications

Minimum 12 months’ experience in Risk, AML, Compliance and/or a related function.
Minimum 12 months Leadership experience.
Strong analytical and investigative mindset.

Responsibilities

Lead the AML Screening workflow and team.
Recommend actions to stakeholders such as the AML Analysts, MLRO, Head of Financial Crime Operations.
Ensure AML standards per policies & processes are met.
Oversee weekly/monthly reports to stakeholders and maintain SLA.
Support AML audit processes and vendor screening activities.
Coach and support AML Investigators and the AML Governance Team.
