Job summary

Moonspin is seeking a dedicated AML Operations support role to assist the Head of AML Operations across jurisdictions. You will handle alerts, profile creation, transaction monitoring, and documentation review to mitigate AML risks.

Experience in i-gaming is advantageous, and training will be provided. Strong English skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential in this on-site role at Moonspin.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts for players hitting AML triggers and ensure appropriate interactions.
• Identify and prioritise players requiring SOW/SOF documentation review.
• Use open sources and other tools to create player profiles when necessary.
• Maintain existing player profiles.
• Monitor player accounts for potential AML concerns with unusual or large transactions.
• Assess and compile documentation received.
• Set appropriate limits on player accounts based on documentation.
• Submit internal suspicious activity reports to the MLRO/Deputy MLRO when necessary.
• Assist other departments with AML-related concerns (behavior, affordability, risks).
• Liaise with Safer Gambling Team for outstanding interactions after SOW/SOF approval.
• Comply with requests from Team Leads and Line Manager.

Purpose of the Role:

This role will be supporting the Head of AML Operations in all matters relating to AML, for all jurisdictions, assisting AML Team Leaders and AML Operations team with any queries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor alerts for players hitting AML triggers and confirm players receive appropriate interactions.
• Identify and prioritise players requiring SOW/SOF documentation review.
• Use open sources and other tools to create player profiles when necessary.
• Maintain existing player profiles.
• Monitor player accounts where concerns have been identified, including ongoing transaction monitoring to detect unusual, large, or complex betting patterns and financial transactions.
• Assess and compile documentation received.
• Set appropriate limits on player accounts based on documentation received.
• Submit internal suspicious activity reports to the MLRO/Deputy MLRO when necessary.
• Assist other departments with concerns cited around player behaviour, affordability and AML risks.
• Liaise with Safer Gambling Team for any outstanding responsible gambling interactions following SOW/SOF document approval.
• Comply with reasonable requests from Team Leads and Line Manager.

Required Skills

• Previous I-gaming experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
• Excellent level of English, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
