Responsibilities

  • Ensure installation teams know their schedules.
  • Conduct final measurements on-site before product orders.
  • Communicate with clients on design and quality control.
  • Conduct site inspections for product installation accuracy.
  • Manage performance of installation teams.

Job description

The Ideal candidate:

  • will have 5-10 years’ experience in the Aluminium industry in a similar role.
  • Must have excellent technical knowledge of raw and fitted Aluminium products.
  • Will be responsible for ensuring that all Aluminium installers enforce Prinro’s standards of quality for all installations, and all statutory legal requirements as provided by: AAAMSA, SAGGA and the NHBRC, are adhered to and correctly implemented.

Reports to: Aluminium Manager

Duties

The Installation Team Manager’s duties will be, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Installation team Job Scheduling: Ensure that all installation teams know what to do and when to do it.
  2. On-site Final Measurements: Site inspections for final measurements before orders are placed for finished or manufactured products.
  3. Client Communication and negotiations: on design aesthetics, quality control and final snags sign off.
  4. Site inspections to double check that all products have been installed correctly, according to site plan and quote sequences.
  5. Quality Control of installations of windows and doors.
  6. Team management– Performance management of installation teams.
