3 Month Contract
We are looking for experienced Aluminium Boat Welders to join the production team on a temporary contract. You must have hands-on experience in MIG and TIG welding on aluminium boats, be deadline-driven, and strictly follow health, safety, and admin protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
Welding :
- Weld aluminium plates and extrusions using MIG and TIG techniques.
- Measure and cut aluminium to design specifications.
- Read and interpret welding / design drawings.
- Work according to production deadlines and schedules.
- Knowledge of 5083 Aluminium welding procedures.
Health & Safety :
Follow all safety protocols and wear correct PPE.Report equipment or weld issues.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Ensure tools, chemicals, and equipment are safely packed away.Administration :
File and store drawings securely.Submit time and attendance records to management.Follow company HR policies and procedures.Skills Required :
Self-motivated and positive attitude.Systematic and technically minded.Team player with sober habits.Energetic and good problem-solving skills.Good communication (verbal and written).Requirements :
Experience & Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience on aluminium boats.MIG / TIG Welding qualification or equivalent.Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and HSE compliance.Physical Requirements :
Able to walk, climb, lift, push / pull heavy materials and equipment.Comfortable working in confined spaces.Physically adaptable to welding and marine production environments.
