Job description

3 Month Contract

We are looking for experienced Aluminium Boat Welders to join the production team on a temporary contract. You must have hands-on experience in MIG and TIG welding on aluminium boats, be deadline-driven, and strictly follow health, safety, and admin protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

Welding :

  • Weld aluminium plates and extrusions using MIG and TIG techniques.
  • Measure and cut aluminium to design specifications.
  • Read and interpret welding / design drawings.
  • Work according to production deadlines and schedules.
  • Knowledge of 5083 Aluminium welding procedures.

Health & Safety :

  • Follow all safety protocols and wear correct PPE.
  • Report equipment or weld issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensure tools, chemicals, and equipment are safely packed away.
  • Administration :

  • File and store drawings securely.
  • Submit time and attendance records to management.
  • Follow company HR policies and procedures.
  • Skills Required :

  • Self-motivated and positive attitude.
  • Systematic and technically minded.
  • Team player with sober habits.
  • Energetic and good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication (verbal and written).
  • Requirements :

    Experience & Qualifications :

  • Physical Requirements :

  • Able to walk, climb, lift, push / pull heavy materials and equipment.
