Position Overview

We are seeking a determined individual to join us as the Alliances Lead Physician for CMH. This role involves applying scientific and clinical expertise to support strategic planning in medical affairs, particularly in launch and commercialization activities aimed at enhancing patient and customer experiences.

The Alliances Lead Physician will collaborate closely with Global and IBU teams within the Therapeutic Area of CMH, lead the Lilly CMH expert community, and oversee their activities to align with strategic priorities. They will serve as a scientific resource across functions and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Scientific and Clinical Support: Provide expert support to the regional CMH business, addressing the informational needs of payers, patients, and healthcare providers through data analysis and research.
  2. Medical Strategy Development: Develop and implement medical strategies supporting brand commercialization, collaborating with global teams and other stakeholders.
  3. Medical Affairs Planning: Educate and prepare peers for product launches, contribute to promotional material review, and support clinical trial design and execution.
  4. Data Dissemination and Education: Ensure compliance in data sharing, support scientific meetings, and foster relationships with external experts.
  5. Regulatory Support: Participate in labeling development and review, providing medical expertise to regulatory teams.
Key Qualifications
  • Deep scientific knowledge of CMH and its treatments, with excellent data interpretation and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the CMH customer base and business, with strong planning and execution capabilities.
  • Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • People management experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
