Qualifications

• Recognized trade qualification in aircraft metalwork or structures.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Aircraft Structures Mechanic.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with aluminum, steel and composites.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft structures for damage, corrosion, and fatigue.
• Perform repairs to primary and secondary structures.
• Fabricate replacement parts per drawings and specs.
• Modify/upgrade structures per service bulletins or orders.
• Work with aluminum alloys, steel and composites.
• Document inspections and repairs.
• Operate structural repair tools safely.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and engineers.
