Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Structures Engineer to join our George team. You will design and analyze aircraft structural components, ensuring airworthiness and performance throughout the lifecycle, while collaborating with manufacturing, design, and testing teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and at least 4 years of hands-on experience with FEA tools (NASTRAN, ANSYS) and CAD (CATIA, SolidWorks).

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field.
• Proficiency with FEA tools such as NASTRAN/ANSYS and CAD tools CATIA/SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of materials science, composite structures and metallic airframe design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aircraft structural components and repair schemes using CAD software.
• Perform structural analysis including stress, fatigue, and fracture mechanics via FEA.
• Verify designs to meet airworthiness through analysis, testing, and validation.
• Collaborate with aerodynamic and systems engineers for integrated designs.
• Develop and maintain design reports, specs and manufacturing instructions.
• Support manufacturing and assembly, troubleshooting structural issues.
