Placements24 is recruiting an Aircraft Quality Control Inspector for a Welkom-based aviation maintenance operation. You will ensure all maintenance and repair work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards, inspecting components, systems, and completed work and authorizing progression.

The role requires meticulous documentation, traceability, and collaboration with technicians and engineers to resolve quality issues and maintain airworthiness in a reputable company.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid AMT license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years in aircraft quality control or maintenance inspection.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with SACAA regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of aircraft structures, systems, and components during maintenance phases.
• Verify maintenance, repair, and overhaul work complies with specifications and regulatory standards.
• Ensure all work is documented in maintenance records with strict traceability.
