Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent and experienced Aircraft Quality Inspector to join our maintenance and operations team in Vereeniging. You will ensure all aircraft maintenance and repair work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, by conducting inspections, verifying documentation, and identifying non-conformities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Quality Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within aviation.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., SA CAA standards).
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of aircraft, components, and maintenance work.
• Verify that all maintenance activities comply with Airworthiness Directives, manufacturer's specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve maintenance records, logbooks, and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
