Qualifications

• Trade qualification or certification in Avionics or Electrical Systems.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in aircraft interior systems maintenance or installation.
• Proficient with electrical wiring, connectors and electronic components.
• Ability to read aircraft maintenance manuals and schematics.

Responsabilités

About the Role

Our client, a specialist aviation services company located near Polokwane , is seeking a skilled Aircraft Interior Systems Technician . This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex cabin interiors and associated systems, including in-flight entertainment (IFE), lighting, galleys, lavatories, and seating. You will play a key part in ensuring passenger comfort, safety, and the aesthetic integrity of aircraft cabins. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and expertise in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems within an aircraft environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft cabin interior components and systems (e.g., IFE, lighting, seating, galleys, lavatories).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults within cabin systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings related to aircraft interiors.
• Perform modifications and upgrades to cabin systems according to approved technical data.
