Placements24 seeks an experienced Aircraft Interior Refurbishment Specialist for remote oversight of luxurious cabin projects. You will coordinate with clients, design teams, and MROs to define scope, select materials, and ensure regulatory compliance across EASA, FAA, SACAA standards.

Required are a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in aircraft interiors, and strong PM/communication skills to manage timelines and budgets from a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft interior design, refurbishment, or project management.
• Strong understanding of aircraft cabin systems, materials, finishes, and relevant aviation regulations.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for remote client and team interaction.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with a high standard for quality and aesthetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide remote technical expertise and project management for aircraft interior refurbishment projects.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to define refurbishment scope, materials, and finishes.
• Review and approve interior design mock-ups, material samples, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all refurbishment work complies with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, SACAA) and OEM specifications.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation from a remote standpoint.
• Liaise with MRO facilities and workshops to coordinate and monitor refurbishment progress.
• Conduct remote quality inspections and ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to interior components and installations.
• Maintain project documentation, including status reports, change orders, and completion records.
