Placements24 is seeking a visionary AI Solutions Architect to join a fully remote team. You will design and implement scalable AI solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, and GCP, translating business needs into detailed technical architectures.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud-based architecture, strong AI/ML knowledge, and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. Remote work from Nelspruit or other approved locations is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Architect or Senior Engineer designing cloud-based solutions.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, training, deployment and monitoring.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP and their AI/ML services (SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI).
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, microservices, containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong data architecture knowledge including data lakes and data warehousing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, with remote work capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end AI/ML solutions, integrating various cloud services and AI platforms.
• Develop technical blueprints and documentation for AI systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to understand needs and propose optimal solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Architect or Senior Engineer designing and implementing complex cloud-based solutions.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Extensive experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI).
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data lakes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
