Placements24 is seeking an AI Research Engineer to join their Paarl, Western Cape team. You will explore, develop, and implement novel AI algorithms and systems across the full research lifecycle.

The role is hands-on, demanding strong Python skills and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch. You will work within an innovative team to push the frontiers of AI at Placements24.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in CS/AI/ML or related field.
• Proven AI research and development experience (projects/academic).
• Strong Python programming and ML/DL framework experience.
• Solid knowledge of ML, DL, NLP or CV concepts.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.

This role is dedicated to exploring, developing, and implementing novel AI algorithms and systems. You will be involved in the entire research lifecycle, from conceptualization and experimentation to prototyping and validation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research into new AI techniques, algorithms, and methodologies.

Requirements
