Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an AI Junior to Intermediate Project Manager in Cape Town to support a large-scale AI programme. You will coordinate initiatives, track delivery, manage governance, and keep stakeholders aligned across multiple AI workstreams.

The role focuses on maintaining programme visibility, tracking actions, risks, dependencies and value realisation, and producing executive-ready status updates for governance bodies.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in project or programme management.
• Experience in Agile or SAFe environments.
• Exposure to technology or digital projects.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrated programme plans across multiple AI workstreams.
• Track milestones across all AI workstreams and follow up on actions.
• Prepare governance packs and meeting materials for boards.
• Produce weekly and monthly status reports and support ExCo reporting.
• Coordinate rollout activities and track adoption metrics across squads.
• Liaise with Technology, HR, Architecture, Security, Data and Business stakeholders.
