Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer in Randburg to design, build, and maintain scalable AI/ML infrastructure across cloud platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering with a focus on AI/ML platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with ML concepts and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AI/ML infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Implement and manage MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, and versioning.
• Develop and automate workflows for data ingestion, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of the AI platform and services.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand infrastructure needs and provide solutions.
