Placements24 is seeking an AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join a remote, distributed AI and Emerging Technologies team. You will shape ethical frameworks, develop governance policies, and conduct impact assessments to ensure fair, transparent, and responsible AI across projects.

You will advise cross-functional teams on bias detection and mitigation, stay updated with global AI ethics regulations, and contribute to external discussions on responsible innovation.

This is a critical, fully remote role within the AI & Emerging Technologies division, dedicated to ensuring that our AI systems are developed and used in a manner that is fair, transparent, accountable, and beneficial to society. You will play a key role in shaping ethical frameworks, developing governance policies, and conducting impact assessments for AI projects. This position is perfect for an individual passionate about the societal implications of AI and committed to promoting trustworthy AI practices. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Law, Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, technology governance, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning concepts, and their societal implications.
• Knowledge of relevant ethical frameworks, principles, and regulatory landscapes.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex ethical and technical concepts into actionable guidance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
