Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd in Durban is seeking a digitally focused Graphic Designer / Digital Designer to craft innovative digital assets, presentations and campaigns. The role requires HTML coding experience and a willingness to explore GenAI tools to boost efficiency and creativity.

You will collaborate with a creative team on branding, social assets, and client deliverables, ensuring designs meet client branding and production standards while staying ahead of trends.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in graphic design with a diploma or degree.
• 5 yrs of experience in design and creative environment.
• Experience in digital agency and multi-media industry.
• Knowledge of GenAI tools and the ability to use them to execute.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce design material for digital, video, presentations, digital media, point of sale, products & packaging.
• Layout and electronic preparation for repro or publishing with software (Adobe Illustrator CS6, Indesign CS6, Photoshop CCS6, Microsoft Office).
• Determine client needs and design function, research design characteristics and client brief.
• Track all graphic elements and ensure timely delivery for presentations with accuracy.
• Discuss design requirements with team and client and implement changes.
• Develop and manage digital design and content for key clients as part of a design team.
• Create digital assets across web, social and marketing campaigns.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in advertising and marketing.
