Blacksmith Agency is seeking an AI Engineer to own and ship the internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role focused on production systems on top of AI models, not model training.

You will work with engineering and delivery leadership to turn a documented roadmap into shipped automation workflows. Ideal candidates have 2+ years building production software in Python or Node.js, hands-on experience with LangChain/LangGraph, and proven API integrations with OpenAI or Anthropic.

Formación

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsabilidades

• Own and ship internal automation roadmap as part of the AI stack.
• Build production systems on top of LLMs and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery leadership to convert roadmaps into shipped workflows.
• Develop agentic workflows and integrate with external APIs and tools.
