Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI strategies to support business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for AI‑driven innovation in customer interactions, operational processes, and business efficiencies, with a focus on voice bots and chat bots.
• Development and deployment of AI solutions, including Generative AI, NLP, voice bots, speech‑to‑text, text‑to‑speech, LLMs, Quality Assurance Systems, etc.
• Solutions optimized for African languages.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and related technologies.
• Conduct research and experiments to explore new AI capabilities and their potential applications.
• Collaborate with academic institutions, industry experts, and technology partners to drive AI innovation.
• Ensure that the strictest Data Privacy and Governance standards are adhered to.
• Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms to address business challenges.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing systems and processes through APIs and other integration methods.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, robust, and maintainable.
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform AI model development.
• Use advanced data processing and visualization techniques to present findings to stakeholders.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve business outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Honours degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Certifications in AI/ML platforms (e.g., Azure AI) advantageous.
• 2+ years of experience in AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, NLP or a related field.
• Strong practical experience with AI voice and text bots.
• Hands‑on experience building AI chatbots using LLMs or conversational AI frameworks.
• Proven experience designing Speech‑to‑Text (STT), Text‑to‑Speech (TTS), and QA analysis tools.
