A well-established law firm located in Parktown. The firm's main area of expertise is Banking Litigation and Foreclosures. This role reports directly to the Head of the Foreclosures Department (Senior Associate).

Job Description

Our client, a well-established law practice with a busy Foreclosures department, seeks either a 2nd-year Candidate Attorney, ideally someone who has completed roughly a year's articles and wishes to cede, or a fairly Junior Attorney with 1 to 2 years of experience in Banking Litigation / Foreclosures. Relevant duties and responsibilities will depend on the role. The firm works with FNB; any bank panel foreclosures experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

LLB Degree. (Admitted Attorney preferred for Junior Attorney position).

Skills

Fluent in Afrikaans and English (non-negotiable). Able to read, write, and speak Afrikaans. Driven and able to work in a busy department with high work volumes and quick turnaround times. Excellent communication skills, strong drafting, and administrative skills. A strong interest in Banking Law and Foreclosures.
