Placements24 is seeking an experienced Agronomist to work remotely across diverse regions. You will provide expert advice on crop production, soil management, and sustainable farming practices, helping farmers improve yields and resource efficiency.

In this role you will analyze data, develop actionable recommendations, and troubleshoot challenges, communicating findings through reports and presentations to farmers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Soil Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Agronomist or in advisory roles.
• Knowledge of crop physiology, soil science, and pest management.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advice on crop selection, planting, fertilization, and pest/disease management.
• Conduct soil analysis and develop tailored soil health management plans.
• Analyze agricultural data, including yield reports and environmental factors, to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and recommend sustainable farming practices to optimize resource utilization and environmental impact.
• Assist in the planning and execution of field trials to test new agricultural products and techniques.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to farmers, management, and other stakeholders through reports and presentations.
