Job summary

Nile.ag in Pretoria seeks an Agri Finance & Credit Solutions Manager to build and scale a new business unit focused on working capital finance for producers across Africa’s agri value chain. You will shape credit strategies, develop models, evaluate proposals, and partner with commercial, risk and finance teams and funders to deliver innovative, right-sized financing solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have proven ability to build and interpret credit models and read financial statements.
• Experience with credit analysis, structured finance, or agri-finance is essential.
• Strong business development capability to originate relationships with producers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the new Agri Finance & Credit Solutions unit.
• Design and refine credit models and scoring for producers and the value chain.
• Evaluate finance proposals, prepare data-driven memos, and structure financing solutions.
• Monitor portfolio performance and create MIS dashboards to flag risk.
• Work with commercial, risk and finance teams; liaise with funders and auditors.
• Drive continuous improvement using data and, where possible, AI to accelerate credit processes.
