Job description

Our client in the Telecommunications sector is seeking an Agile Product Owner for a contract duration of three months.

Resource Requirements

Agile Product Owner for BSS Stack with experience driving product backlog for Telecommunications Wholesale space. The role focuses primarily on Fixed Connectivity, and the resource will report to Products Business and Technology teams.

Responsibilities

  1. Creates and maintains a product backlog reflecting value and prioritizing work for a product engineering team.
  2. Work with business and product engineering leadership to prioritize enhancements and releases.
  3. Distill annual roadmaps into requirements and then prioritize sprints with the help of engineering.
  4. Decide what your product engineering teams work on.
  5. Communicate and evangelize product strategy to peers in engineering and UX.
  6. Work with partners in business engineering, marketing, and analytics to define, build, and launch products/platform features.
  7. Provide quality assurance (QA) review of non-code developers' deliverables (i.e., design documents, test plans, test reports) and track acceptance using customer-provided automation tools.
  8. Manage an enhancement request process to identify work of high business value.
  9. Convey the goals and product requirements for enhancements and new development, and with Business Analysts, assist with the elaboration of user stories and requirements.
  10. Represent the business to the team.
