Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive pipeline across South Africa in a remote capacity. You will own top-of-funnel activities: researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

You will craft personalized sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, maintain clean Salesforce/SalesLoft records, and collaborate with Account Executives to convert interest into discovery calls. Prior SDR/BDR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience preferred.
• Proven ability to research accounts and identify decision makers.
• Strong written communication with personalized outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools and CRM usage.

What You Will Own

What You Bring

• B2B sales experience preferred. Full-cycle closers who have carried a quota are welcome.
• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
