Inside Sales Specialist

Global Industrial Equipment Manufacturer in Midrand is looking to hire an experienced Inside Sales Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Handle enquiries from an international client base for spare parts for standard and customised engineered products.
- Provide quotations promptly, including price, lead time, and payment terms.
- Liaise with internal departments such as Customer Service, Engineering, Production, Finance, as well as field sales personnel and suppliers.
- Follow up on quotations proactively to secure business.
- Prepare spare parts lists for new capital equipment and track aftermarket business opportunities.
- Update opportunities weekly in the CRM tool.
- Analyze quotation success rates and report to management.
- Utilize technical knowledge to sell and promote products/services via telephone.
- Provide technical advice related to equipment use, operation, and maintenance.
- Prepare sales quotations and proposals, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Dairy/Food processing plant operation and maintenance, especially sanitary equipment like PHE, Separator, Homogeniser, Mixer, Pumps, Valves.
- Strong customer-centric attitude.
- Professional and composed communication, even under pressure.
- Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Ability to work in a busy internal sales office, handling technical inquiries.
- Proficiency with SAP 6, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
