Job Summary:

The Sales Representative plays a critical role in promoting and selling water industry products and services to customers. This involves identifying potential customers, conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address customer needs, perform market analysis, and implement sales strategies. Maintaining strong customer relationships and providing excellent customer service are essential for success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Act as a brand ambassador for Xylem's Lifecycle Service Department.
• Present the department's value proposition to the market.
• Conduct market research to grow rental revenues.
• Develop markets in Mining, Public Utilities, SOEs, and Industrial sectors.
• Build long-term relationships with key customers.
• Contribute to team performance and morale.

Requirements:

• Completed Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of technical, customer-facing sales experience, preferably in solutions-based rental and aftermarket roles.
• 3-5 years' experience in the pump industry, with knowledge of pumps, pumping systems, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to size pumping equipment based on site conditions.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
