Placements24 seeks an Aftercare Supervisor and Enrichment Program Coordinator to lead our Centurion after-school program for children aged 6-12. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate enrichment activities, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

This role blends on-site supervision with occasional remote planning; you will manage staff, report to parents, maintain supplies, and collaborate with school teams to support learning and well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma; ECE/Youth Development qualification advantageous.
• Experience in childcare or aftercare; supervisory exp preferred.
• Ability to plan and lead engaging activities for 6-12 year olds.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Afternoon availability; potential for remote planning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the aftercare program for children aged 6-12 years.
• Develop, plan, and execute a diverse range of enrichment activities, including homework assistance, arts and crafts, sports, and educational games.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your supervision at all times.
• Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel supported and engaged.
• Manage staff and volunteers within the aftercare program, providing guidance and training.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and program activities.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for the aftercare program.
• Coordinate with school administration to ensure smooth transitions for children.
• Handle minor disciplinary issues and emergencies with professionalism and care.

About the Role

Requirements
