Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Degree and PGCE or B.Education (specialised degree if teaching into a specialist subject)
  • SACE certification and police clearance
  • 2-5 years experience teaching the IEB curriculum at Junior school level
  • 2 years specialist subject teaching (Afrikaans)
  • Computer literacy and the ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching/learning
Key Performance Areas
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons following IEB curriculum and educational standards
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to the IEB guidelines and objectives
