Afrikaans Teacher (Grade R-7)

St James Primary School is a multi-faith, independent primary school affiliated with a worldwide family of schools, catering to pupils from Grade R to Grade 7.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years teaching experience as a qualified, employed teacher
• Inspirational, mindful and energetic
• Shows initiative and communicates effectively
• Well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills
• Registered with SACE – payments up to date
• Responds well to guidance and mentorship

Responsibilities:

• Lesson preparation, planning, and teaching learners from Grades R-7
• School duties which include break duties, extra-mural and attending school functions
• Monitoring, assessing and accurate recording of learners’ academic progress
