Full-time permanent post, starting 1 January 2026

  • Have a recognised teaching qualification with Afrikaans specialisation in High School
  • Proof of SACE registration
  • At least 3 years’ experience in teaching Afrikaans First Additional Language up to Grade 12
  • Be able to work in an environment calling for differentiated teaching, including teaching pupils on an educational support programme
  • Be able to work with pupils in a nurturing way, in order to develop each one holistically
  • Be a committed and professional member of a dynamic team
  • Excellent administration, communication and organisational skills
  • Willing to uphold the values and ethos of the school
  • The ability to incorporate technology into teaching practice.
  • Willing to be involved in the broader extra mural programme
