Pridwin Preparatory School is a leading boys’ prep school situated in Melrose in Johannesburg. It prepares boys for entry into the top high schools in the country. Many of our boys also gain entry into prominent high schools in other parts of the world.

The successful candidate should be:

• an individual with energy, integrity and vision; who can competently meet the learning needs of the boys in a creative and innovative manner.
• able to teach Afrikaans as a First Additional Language and Second Additional Language using inclusive practices that accommodate all learning styles.
• able to teach across phases, both Junior and Senior Phase.

EDUCATION:

• A suitable professional qualification, Bachelor of Education Degree or higher and a SACE Registration Certificate

KNOWLEDGE:

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the subject area across phases
• A variety of management, teaching and assessment strategies
• Knowledge of variety of resources available in the field

SKILLS:

• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to people on all levels with Emotional Intelligence
