Climate change is a critical global issue requiring urgent action. As a consultant, you will shape the Sustainability practice by sharing your expertise in risk management, GHG accounting, and industry experience across diverse clients. You will help clients navigate energy transitions and meet decarbonization goals. Your role includes working on projects, preparing proposals, conducting research, and contributing to thought leadership. Your growth will support the evolution of our sustainability services to meet future client needs.

Job Description

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a real impact? We seek a motivated and experienced professional to join Deloitte. You will utilize your skills in GHG emissions measurement, monitoring, reporting, and reduction to support clients' decarbonization strategies, working with a team of experts on strategic and operational decision-making.

You will help clients understand decarbonization uncertainties and risks, enabling strategic, confident decisions about their sustainability journey.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating high-quality reports and analyses with strategic advice
• Providing insights on scopes 1, 2, 3 emissions, science-based targets, and decarbonization roadmaps
• Building strong client relationships
• Mentoring peers with diverse skill sets

Qualifications

• 0-5 years relevant experience
• Master’s degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• Experience in GHG emissions accounting, familiar with the GHG Protocol, especially scope 3
• Experience in data quantification and calculation
• Willingness to learn about Science Based Targets, PCAF, Net Zero, and other standards
• Operational knowledge of decarbonization technologies across industries
• Ambitious, independent, and able to perform under pressure
• ESG audit experience is a plus
