As a consultant, you will help shape the Sustainability practice by sharing your risk management, GHG accounting, and industry experience across a diverse range of clients, helping our clients navigate the energy transition and meet their decarbonization priorities.

In addition to working on client projects, you will support in preparing proposals, client meetings, workshops, research, and articles. We value innovative thinking and diverse insights, inspiring growth within our practice and input into the wider ecosystem at Deloitte.

About the opportunity

The successful candidate will be innovative in understanding and applying our current capabilities. The purpose of this role is to provide compliance and regulatory advice to a broad range of Financial Services clients. Every client assignment is unique providing you with an opportunity to work on a variety of projects and tasks including the following:

1. Provision of technical expertise to assist a broad range of financial services clients to manage their relevant regulatory requirements
2. Support the development of new business opportunities and work closely with the senior management team
3. Planning and managing projects as required, meeting all deadlines in a timely manner
4. The interpretation and implementation of regulations
5. Supporting the development of a client compliance framework
6. Supporting the development of compliance policies and procedures
7. Reviewing client documentation in relation to regulatory requirements
8. Supporting internal audit services specific to compliance with regulatory requirements
9. Secondments to client Compliance Functions
10. Design and delivery of regulatory training tailored to meet client's needs

Qualifications

About You

1. Proven experience in compliance or regulatory experience within an advisory, law, or business consulting capacity
2. Experience and industry knowledge within the Banking, Insurance, Investment Management, or Funds & Asset Servicing industries
3. Strong technical knowledge in regulation and Financial Regulator rules and guidance procedures
4. A detailed understanding of aspects of current regulation with an ability to develop a specialism in other areas of new regulation
5. Ability to identify sales opportunities and progress these in conjunction with other team members
6. Demonstrated outstanding planning, project management, networking, and influencing skills
7. Third level qualification in related area
8. Professional Diploma in Compliance - Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI), or other is desirable
