Specific Responsibilities

The Africa Digital Transformation team seeks to support our Africa Digital Transformation Platform Manager in ensuring awareness, understanding, and application of our digital platforms, notably Workbench and xPlatform reporting.

This role involves supporting the broader capabilities of the Data Platform, contributing to the roadmap, maintaining platforms, and enabling new data services. The team is structured into Digital Operations, Digital Platforms, and Digital Change and Upskilling.

The Senior Associate will support strategic initiatives, help with change management, and promote platform adoption to meet user needs across the firm.

Key Activities

• Implement digital strategies around Workbench and xPlatform reporting.
• Support technical expertise development and user requirement gathering.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to enhance platform functionality and adoption.
• Monitor platform governance, activity, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with Digital Change and Upskilling teams on training, communications, and demonstrations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Data Science, Data Engineering, or IT qualification with 1-2 years of experience.
• Skills in workflow automation (e.g., Alteryx), data visualization (PowerBI), and analytics suites (DAX).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, R, SQL, etc.).
• Creative, innovative, and user-centric mindset.
• Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
