Job description

KingMakers is the home where Africa plays. We are the platform behind two of Africa’s most exciting digital brands: BetKing in Nigeria and SuperSportBet in South Africa. We build intuitive, high-performing platforms that bring fans closer to the sports they love — making every moment of interaction more dynamic, connected, and rewarding.

At our core, we focus on what matters: creating bold, seamless experiences that put our customers first and celebrate the passion of millions across the continent. We’re a homegrown African tech company, scaling with ambition, building with purpose, and creating opportunity at every step: for our users, for our teams, and for the communities we serve.

Role Overview:

As an Affiliate Manager, you will play a key role on our acquisition targets, own the relationship with international and local partners, orchestrate and create new partnerships while ensuring healthy commercials for KingMakers. You will also have the possibility to represent Kingmakers at events for affiliates, being the go-to person.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Lead negotiations of commercial agreements with affiliates, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions that align with our LTV and CAC objectives.
  • Improve existing processes of onboarding new partners, enhancing reporting and ways of working.
  • Conduct industry research to identify and approach prospective affiliate partners, staying updated on market trends and developments that can contribute to LTV and CAC optimizations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as compliance and legal teams, to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and terms and conditions.
  • Represent the company at affiliate conferences in Nigeria/South Africa or international conferences, networking with potential partners and industry contacts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with affiliates through regular communication and support, fostering partnerships that contribute to LTV growth.
  • Assist in setting up, monitoring, and optimizing affiliate agreements, analyzing ROI benchmarks and making data-driven decisions aligned with our LTV and CAC goals.
  • Communicate progress on growth and efficiency KPIs related to acquisition volumes, ROI, LTV, and CAC weekly and monthly to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing campaigns and deals, aiming to increase acquisition volumes while optimizing CAC and enhancing customer lifetime value.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to design and deliver creative assets that optimize affiliate marketing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar in marketing or administration.
  • 5 years in a similar role managing affiliates for iGaming companies.
  • Driven and focused on results.
  • Excellent understanding of affiliate marketing principles, including experience with CPA, Revenue Share, Hybrid, and Tenancy payment models, with a focus on optimizing LTV and CAC.
  • Understanding of the gambling industry and its terms.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to analyze data and present insights related to LTV and CAC optimizations.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data to make informed decisions and drive results, with a strong focus on LTV and CAC metrics.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve LTV and CAC objectives.
  • Proactive attitude with excellent organizational skills, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent working knowledge of affiliate management platforms such as Intelitics / IncomeAccess or similar platforms, leveraging them to track and optimize LTV, FTDs, and CAC performance.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver against business strategies and targets, with a focus on LTV and CAC optimization.
  • Previous experience in an affiliate management role, with a demonstrated track record of optimizing LTV and CAC.

At KingMakers, we believe that how we deliver results matters as much as the results themselves. Our CROWNS values define the standard for how we show up, work together, and grow as a company.

We expect everyone at KingMakers to embody these values in their day-to-day:

  • Customer First: We build with and for our users — whether internal or external. We stay close to their needs, challenge anything that doesn’t serve them, and create meaningful value in every interaction.
  • Raise the Bar: We don’t settle for “good enough.” We push for better — in our work, our teams, and ourselves. We take ownership, drive improvement, and leave things better than we found them.
  • Operate with Candor: We’re open, honest, and respectful. We give and receive feedback early, challenge constructively, and communicate clearly — even when it’s uncomfortable.
  • We Build Together: We win as one team. We collaborate across functions, share generously, and lift each other up. There are no egos, only shared goals.
  • No Hesitation, Never Reckless: We move with courage, not chaos. We take smart risks, lead change, and act boldly — while staying thoughtful, responsible, and accountable for the outcome.
  • Speed & Iteration: We move fast, learn fast, and evolve fast. We take action, test ideas, and continuously improve — because progress beats perfection.

These values are not just words on a wall — they guide how we make decisions, collaborate, and grow. Living them is part of the job.
