Job Summary

To provide solution-oriented sales and service to customers in Short-term Insurance risk and offer advice. To provide solutions for the client's short-term insurance needs in both Commercial and Personal Lines. To service customers upon request and regularly review the client's portfolio to build a sustainable client base.

Job Description

Establish and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders (clients, bank personnel, product providers, virtual advisers, and virtual agents). Achieve sales and growth targets telephonically. Manage own broker practice for personal development.

FAIS Fit and Proper Requirements Applicable to this Role (Advice and Intermediary Service):

  • FSCA-Approved Qualification
  • Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5)
  • Experience as per the FAIS Act
  • Product-specific training upon onboarding
  • Class of Business training
  • Continuous professional development
  • Attest to honesty, integrity, and good standing

Minimum Qualifications

  • NQF5 in Short-term Insurance
  • RE5

Minimum Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance sales

Education

Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Insurance and Risk Management (Required)
