Advertising Sales Executive
Department: Sales
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Location: Hybrid – Work from home with one day a week in our JHB office

Summary: Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales hunter with a passion for growth? Green Media is looking for an Advertising Sales Executive to drive new business and expand our client base.

You'll focus on signing new clients, then hand them over to our Account Managers while earning evergreen commission on the deals you close.

Job Objective: Your target is to generate R8,, in new gross profit per year. This role is about opening doors, closing deals, and fuelling long-term revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Hunt down new business opportunities
  2. Build strong relationships with prospective clients
  3. Deliver compelling sales presentations
  4. Close deals and meet/exceed targets
  5. Work with marketing on acquisition strategies

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years in advertising/media sales or business development
  2. Proven track record of smashing sales targets
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  4. Self-motivated and team-oriented
  5. Solid knowledge of the advertising/media industry

Skills:

  1. Powerful presentation and storytelling abilities
  2. Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving
  3. Confident, persuasive, and quick on your feet
  4. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM tools

Compensation: Very competitive salary
Up to 27.5% commission
On-target earnings: R2.5 million per year
