We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Advertising and Promotions Manager to lead our marketing initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about creative storytelling, brand management, and delivering impactful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops advertising and promotional campaigns: Tailors campaigns to target audiences, creates promotional calendars outlining schedules and types of promotions (sales, contests, special offers, etc.).
- Collaborates with the creative team: Designs impactful campaigns.
- Develops and executes marketing strategies: Implements comprehensive plans to meet business objectives.
- Customer loyalty programs: Manages and integrates them into promotional campaigns to enhance engagement and retention.
- Media Planning & Buying: Selects appropriate media channels (TV, radio, digital, print, etc.), negotiates with vendors, and tracks campaign effectiveness for ROI optimization.
- Budget Management: Oversees campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and monitoring spending to stay within budget while achieving goals.
- Brand Coordination: Ensures consistency with brand identity, message, and values across all activities, collaborating with sales, product, and digital teams.
- Market Research & Analysis: Analyzes market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify promotional opportunities and measures campaign success through data collection.
- Vendor and Partner Relations: Manages relationships with media agencies, influencers, sponsors, and other partners involved in campaigns.
- Sales and Performance Tracking: Uses KPIs like sales figures, traffic, and brand awareness metrics to evaluate success and prepares detailed performance reports.
- Creativity and Innovation: Seeks new promotional ideas and develops engaging offers to attract and retain customers.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Works with marketing, sales, product development, and event planning teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing, advertising, promotions, and PR within retail.
- Experience in project management and managing loyalty programs.
