Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tour operations, logistics management, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics with high safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of the Northern Cape region and adventure activities.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Valid driver's license; Code 10+ is advantageous.
• First Aid and Wilderness First Responder certifications are desirable.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic adventure tourism company operating in the stunning Northern Cape region, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Adventure Tour Operator & Logistics Manager. This full-time role is based on-site in Upington and is critical to the seamless execution of all adventure tours. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all logistical aspects, including transportation, equipment, guide scheduling, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in adventure tourism operations, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of safety standards. Your primary focus will be ensuring that every tour runs smoothly, safely, and provides an unforgettable experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Valid driver's license; Code 10 or higher is a strong advantage.
• First Aid and Wilderness First Responder certifications are highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as dictated by tour schedules.
• Proficiency in relevant software for scheduling and logistics is a plus.
