Job Title: Advanced Software Developer REF NR: VAC (Re-Advertisement)

Job Location: Gauteng, Centurion

Key Responsibility Area

1. Lead the development of functional requirements that articulate clear and concise project deliverables compatible with user expectations.
2. Deliver feasibility and cost-benefit analysis, including application architecture choices to enhance the development process.
3. Lead and execute complex software development and customization projects across multiple environments.
4. Lead the development and customization of complex application service solutions by studying information needs, consulting with clients, analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle using SITAs software development stack/framework.
5. Lead and execute maintenance of integrated IT software components using SITAs software development stack/framework.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3–4 year National Diploma / Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or relevant qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6.
• A postgraduate qualification or Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 or 8 is an added advantage.
• Vendor certification for applications is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in the ICT field, including IT Governance, IT Planning, systems development/procurement, implementation, and maintenance/enhancements of solutions across multiple platforms, with senior operational responsibility in a large organization.
• Extensive experience in application technical solution design across multiple business domains.
• Extensive experience in system integration.
