A healthcare staffing agency is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a GP Surgery in Manchester. This full-time role includes managing chronic diseases, assessing minor illnesses, and providing healthcare advice. Ideal candidates will have the ANP qualification and experience in a GP setting. Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification.
  • Independent Prescriber is desirable.
  • Experience working in a GP surgery or primary care setting is advantageous.

  • Assessing and treating minor illnesses and acute conditions.
  • Prescribing and administering medications as needed.
  • Performing health assessments, consultations, and patient reviews.

Full-Time Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
GP Surgery, Manchester (SK14)
Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Start Date: ASAP

We are working with the highly-ranked GP Surgery in Manchester (SK14), who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment with a reputable surgery that prioritises excellent healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing chronic diseases and long-term conditions
  • Assessing and treating minor illnesses and acute conditions
  • Prescribing and administering medications as needed
  • Performing health assessments, consultations, and patient reviews
  • Providing healthcare advice and support on prevention, lifestyle, and wellbeing
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (ANP)
  • Independent Prescriber (desirable)
  • Experience in managing long-term conditions and minor illnesses
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a GP surgery or primary care setting is advantageous
