Job summary

Winning Form in Durban is seeking an experienced operator for the signage and printing production line. You will conduct the production of the department's business, including manufacturing and printing, while ensuring timeous and efficient processes to meet customer orders.

The role requires prior machinery experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure, manage stock, and follow health and safety rules.

• Operate and maintain production machinery to manufacture and print products.
• Ensure production is timeous and efficient.

• Perform regular machine testing and maintenance.
• Understand substrates listed in the signage department.

• Maintain housekeeping on all machines daily.
• Provide advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with ad-hoc functions as required.

Responsibilities

Operational Function

• Conduct the production of the departments business. This involves, but is not limited to, the manufacturing and printing of various products.
• Ensuring production is conducted in a timeous and efficient manner.
• Alerting the heads of department of equipment and stock items to be purchased as and when the need arises.
• Assists with various other duties with regards to the production/printing department as and when required.
• Complete all the necessary paperwork as required by management.
• Safeguard company assets and company stock (raw material and finished goods) at all times.
• Operate machinery in the correct manner.
• Regular testing and maintenance of the machines.
• Understanding of the various substrates as listed in the signage department.
• Ensure that all health and safety standards are met.
• Ensure housekeeping is completed daily on all machines.
• Assist to provide advice to both internal and external stakeholders as and when required.
• Assist with any other ad-hoc functions as required by management.
