Qualifications

• Post-basic nursing qualification (CRNS) or equivalent.
• Responsible for assessment, planning and implementation of holistic, person-centered nursing care.
• Coordinates patient care within a multidisciplinary health team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in the unit.
• Ensure communication with family and health professionals to advocate for optimal patient care.
• Participate in developing and implementing health care plans and treatment regimes.
• Perform rounds with physicians to review patient status and care plans.
• Prepare shift documentation reflecting patient status and staffing levels.
• Ensure a safe, clean and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors.
