Responsabilidades

• Follow site safety rules, PPE use, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-cleaning inspections to ensure quality.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Advanced Cleaning Technician for industrial applications in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This role is vital for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in challenging industrial settings. The technician will be responsible for executing specialized cleaning procedures, operating advanced cleaning equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in industrial hygiene, chemical handling, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results. This position requires an individual who is meticulous, reliable, and capable of working effectively in demanding environments. We are looking for a professional who can contribute to operational efficiency and safety within the industrial sector of Kimberley .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized industrial cleaning tasks, including degreasing, descaling, and sanitization of machinery and facilities.
• Operate and maintain a range of industrial cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and vacuum systems.
• Handle and apply industrial-grade cleaning agents and chemicals safely and according to specifications.
• Adhere strictly to all site safety rules, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-cleaning inspections to verify quality and identify any issues.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, materials used, and equipment servicing.
• Ensure safe and compliant disposal of industrial waste and hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with site managers and operations teams to schedule and execute cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Participate actively in all mandatory safety training and operational briefings.
• Contribute to a positive and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial cleaning or a related technical cleaning role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating specialized industrial cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, their applications, and safe handling practices.
• Understanding of industrial safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• Experience working within the Kimberley, Northern Cape area is preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as operational demands require.
