Job summary

A leading company in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a Clinical Educator for Advanced Wound Care. This role involves enhancing clinical practices through education and training, developing wound care protocols, and providing operational support within clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and relevant certifications, alongside strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting.
  • Previous experience in the medical industry is an asset.

  • Support in-hospital wound care alongside hospital staff.
  • Deliver educational programs to improve wound outcomes.

Job description

Registered Nurse with a bachelor's degree.

Preferred : WHASA or recognized wound management certification.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting working with patients and / or end users.

Previous experience in the medical industry is an asset.

Domestic travel within Kwa Zulu Natal required.

Valid driver's license and own vehicle.

Effective written and presentation skills.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical publications and scripts.

Proven organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to tailor training and education for diverse audiences.

High attention to clinical outcomes and follow-through.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to support internal and external customers and end users.

Self-driven with the ability to work independently.

Key Job Outputs Maintain professional credentials and education to uphold status as a clinical expert through board certification as a nurse.

Support in-hospital wound care alongside hospital staff.

Establish new wound care protocols for follow-up visits.

Deliver educational programs to internal and external stakeholders to improve wound outcomes and care quality.

Report clinical learnings and opportunities to senior leadership.

Provide clinical and operational support in patient care within hospital or clinical settings.

Train physicians, clinicians, and nurses on procedures, protocols, and product use.

Assist with front office operations including billing, invoicing, scheduling, tracking procedures, reporting, and funder approvals.
