Job description

Registered Nurse with a bachelor's degree preferred, along with a recognized wound management certificate such as WHASA. Requires 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users. Previous experience in the medical industry is an asset. Domestic travel is required to Pretoria, Limpopo, and North West. Valid driver's license and own vehicle are necessary.

Must have effective written and presentation skills, and the ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical publications or scripts. Proven success in organization and time management, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and the ability to tailor training and education for diverse audiences are essential. High attention to clinical outcomes and follow-through, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to support internal and external customers and end users, is required.

Must be self-driven with the ability to work independently.

Key Job Outputs
  1. Maintain professional credentials and education to sustain status as a clinical expert through board certification as a nurse.
  2. Support in-hospital wound care alongside hospital staff.
  3. Establish new wound care protocols for follow-up visits.
  4. Deliver educational programs to internal and external customers and end users to improve wound outcomes and care quality.
  5. Report clinical learnings and opportunities to senior leadership.
  6. Provide clinical and operational support in hospital or clinical settings.
  7. Train physicians, clinicians, and nurses on procedures, protocols, and product use.
  8. Assist with front office operations, including billing, invoicing, scheduling, tracking procedures, reporting, and funder approvals.
