Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking a practicing attorney admitted in the High Court of South Africa to manage complex litigation from start to finish.

You will conduct legal research, draft pleadings and opinions, prepare matters for High Court and Magistrate’s Court proceedings, and maintain client relationships.

The role requires independence, strong drafting, negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a valid driver’s license and own transport.

Qualifications

• Admitted as an attorney in the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum 2 years post-admission litigation experience.
• Proven High Court and Magistrates’ Court litigation experience.
• Commercial litigation experience is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional legal drafting ability.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client-facing skills.
• Able to work independently and manage a demanding caseload.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
