Are you detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about making a difference in students' academic journeys? We are looking for a highly organised and service-focused Admissions Officer to manage and coordinate the student admissions process — from application through to registration — for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Student Recruitment team to manage and resolve admissions-related queries.
  • Evaluate applications against defined admission criteria and issue outcomes accordingly.
  • Coordinate waitlists, declined applications, and expired offers; issue new offers where appropriate.
  • Manage documentation, issue admission letters, and track conditions related to student eligibility.
  • Monitor and report on admissions progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with national and institutional admissions policies and procedures.
  • Administer the registration process including registration holds, verification, and documentation audits.
  • Process student transfers, external credits, and special learning programme (SLP) registrations.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant processing for international students, including study visa verification.
  • Train new student recruitment staff on admissions procedures and policy updates.
  • Uphold data integrity and comply with POPIA and other relevant legislation.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Proven experience in student admissions or academic administration.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple systems, tasks, and stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive student data.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work well within cross-functional teams.
