Are you energetic, ambitious and looking to develop your career? Our Cape Town Study Abroad department is looking to add an Admissions Assistant to their team. This department provides student placement services to universities in Australia, Canada, the USA, the UK, New Zealand, Netherlands, Ireland, Cyprus, Sweden and Mauritius. We offer a dynamic and challenging environment where we achieve our business objectives and have fun doing it.

In this role, you will support the Regional Manager and Study Adviser team with the day-to-day operations of the admissions process. You'll play a key part in reviewing student applications, ensuring compliance with university partner requirements, and maintaining high levels of customer service throughout. You're perfect for this position if you :

  • Have relevant industry experience
  • Preferably have a degree or diploma
  • Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Can engage professionally with international clients and university partners
  • Can take initiative, be self-motivated and proactive
  • Have outstanding administrative and organisational skills
  • Are structured and methodical in your approach to tasks with a high attention to detail
  • Have experience using MS Excel, Word and Outlook

Your role and responsibilities :

Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include :

  • Managing groups of universities and partner channels or individual clients and developing each client relationship
  • Managing inbound client enquiries and communication, both online and telephonically
  • Supporting the team with administrative activities around applications and visa processing
  • Acting as a primary knowledge source for study and visa application process and supporting students through this process
  • Evaluating applications and assessing documentation
  • Creating and managing client records via our CRM system
  • Arranging and attending regular client meetings when required
  • Ensuring document retention responsibilities are complied with and maintain accurate and up to date client data on CRM system
  • Assisting with the selection of country and university
  • Managing existing partner agents
