Job description

Administrator: Legal Services and Contracts

Provide legal admin support to the legal team by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and maintaining an efficient database for all legal files.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

  • Assist in the review and negotiation of contracts
  • Assist with tender applications and all related administration
  • Provide administration support in litigation matters
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations and help develop company policies
  • Effectively maintain legal files
  • Provide legal support to various departments and teams within BCX
  • Stay updated on legal trends and manage legal services portals
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents

Minimum Qualifications

NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Law

Experience

Minimum relevant experience that is required:

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience working within a legal environment such as a law firm or corporate legal departments

Special Requirements / Employment Condition

  • Valid Drivers license
  • Ability to work extended/long hours as and when required
